The Nosy Radama Archipelago, consists of 4 islands in the south of the Nosy Be archipelago.
The most important of these, Kalakajoro, hosts a fishing village and is known for its diving sites in the coral beds that surround it.
Today it is completely overgrown, in the past, during the colonial period, it was used as a commercial stopover, protecting ylang ylang, coconut and vanilla plantations.
At the time of the War of Independence, Malagasy patriots were transported to a prison center there. Its coasts are characterized by white sand beaches and sandbars on coral bottoms.
