Enduro Sport Tour - The Wild South

Enduro Sport

A tough test of patience for drivers from Europe, a challenge for motorcyclists: Madagascar's roads are mostly paths and dirt tracks. More than 90 % of the roads are not paved. Even the two-lane "Routes Nationales" between the larger cities only permit speeds of up to 80 km/h. Outside the built-up area, in Madagascar's beautiful nature, conditions change from dust-dry dirt roads and savannahs to mud and slush holes and smooth laterite tracks. Five thousand kilometers of coastline and seven peaks, each over 2,000 meters high, mountains and desert - Madagascar is a lot of fun for bikers!

12 days / 11 nights, including 10 days on the motorcycle

Destination: South of Madagascar

Help

FOR MADAGASCAR

After 10 months of total inactivity, self-employed people in the tourism industry in Madagascar are completely without income. There is no opening of the borders in sight in Madagascar and we are at the beginning of the rainy season, which is the low season, even in normal times. I have started a fundraiser for the guides and drivers I know well. From this money we will buy rice and other essentials and distribute them regularly, if possible, until the resumption of travel activities in April 2021 at the earliest. My special thanks to those who have already donated. I will start buying rice tomorrow and will begin distributing it this week.
