Day 1: Arrival in Antananarivo
Our team will greet you immediately upon arrival at Ivato International Airport and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 2: From Antananarivo to Ankarafantsika
Route length: 440 km
In the morning you will meet your tour guide and have a first look at your enduro machine.
During the first exit you will leave the busy streets of "Tana" (as Antananarivo is called by the locals) directly onto the national road 4. You are surrounded by the mountains and rice fields of the Highlands.
The descent into the dry prairies of the west is easy.
At the end of the day you will find yourself in a dense pristine forest: Ankarafantsika is a nature reserve with a variety of endemic species. With a little luck you will see some mouse macaws, the smallest monkey species in the world.

Day 3: From Ankarafantsika to Ankify
Route length: 520 km
A long day on the motorcycle awaits you.
From Ankarafantsika you will gradually leave the deserted landscape of the west and enter a coastal landscape.
Then you will ride along the Mozambique Channel to Ankify.

Day 4: Ankify - Diego Suarez
Route length: 240 km
You will drive on the national road 6 on a well-maintained asphalt road.

You will end the day upon arrival in Diego Suarez with an unforgettable sunset over the bay.

Day 5: Diego Suarez
Route length: 200 km
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, you will explore the surroundings of Diego Suarez on a day tour.
Whether the Amber Mountain National Park or the fishing village of Ramena with its white sandy beach: Madagascar will show you its diverse panorama from salt marshes to the "Pain du sucre", the "sugar loaf" in the bay of Diego Suarez. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Diego Suarez - Ankify
Route length: 240 km
Back on the road, experience once again the contrasts of the "red island": on the descent towards Nosy-Be you will see vast forested plains with bamboo, mango and banana trees and the relief of the Ankarana Mountains.

Day 7: Ankify to Nosy-Be
Route length: 100 km
It's going to be fast: In the early morning you will take a speedboat from Nosy-Be to the lemur islands of Nosy and Tanikely.
Dare: On Tanikely you can discover dazzling underwater worlds with surgeon fish, puffer fish and groupers while snorkeling.
The coral gardens reach almost to the beach. After lunch on the beach, you will return to Nosy-Be. You will get on your motorcycle and experience Mount Passot. From the top you will have the most beautiful overview of the island world. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Nosy-Be - Antananarivo (Transfer)
Depending on the departure time of your flight to Antananarivo, you can once again enjoy the fantastic beaches of the island.
A cab will take you to the airport for your flight back to Antananarivo.

Checklist
Please stay with your luggage under 45 lbs weight (equivalent to 20 kg)
Bags:
A duffel bag is ideal, a hiking bag is also suitable (without steel bar). You can secure your bag with a padlock. Please remember to mark the bag with your address and the address of vacation in Madagascar.
A small backpack of 20 liters is good for the things of daily use, such as the camera and sunscreen.
A mattress will be provided on site for overnight stays. If you wish more comfort, please bring an additional foam mattress.
