Day 1: Arrival in AntananarivoArrival at Antananarivo airport. From there you will be transferred to the Villa Sybille brought. After a short transfer (about 10 minutes) you will reach your hospitable, cozy accommodation for the first night. |
Day 2: First stop in AndasibeEarly in the morning you will drive east on the winding and well-maintained RN 2. On the way you will have the opportunity to visit the famous private reserve "MadagascarExotique" of the famous explorer Andre Pereyras, where an unimagined variety of reptiles, amphibians and - in a nearby forest - lemurs pose without shyness in front of the camera. Moramanga is the next stopover before heading to the nearby Analamazoatra area. Close to the national park of Andasibe you will take up quarters and already have the opportunity to listen to the singing cries of the Indri-Indris, which often make their way into the hotel complex. Overnight stay in the hotel "EulophiellaLodge or equivalent". |
Day 3: The impressive Canal des Pangalanes (approx. 3h riding time)Today you will be awakened by the calls coming from the neighboring forest reserve good morning in a completely different language! After breakfast you will go to Briackville, where your horses are already waiting for you. Once there, you will have time to fortify yourself for the first stage on horseback with a lunch according to your personal preferences. You will ride to Bac, at the Canal des Pangalanes, who once main waterway at the time of the French colonization. After successfully crossing the channel, you will reach the spacious beach of Ambila. At exotic coconut trees pitch your tents and come in the evening to rest with the gentle sound of the sea and tropical flair |
Day 4: Andevoranto - The way to the "end of the world". (approx. 5h riding time)Your way leads you on this fourth day along the white dream beach. You will circle Bac to the south and after exuberant gallops you will reach the mouth of the Rianala River. Here in Andevoranto, at the "end of the world", flowing Fresh and salt water together. At the restaurant Les Cocotiers d'Andovoranto you will be served a first class lunch and you will have the opportunity to enjoy the to get to know great cordiality of local people. After the tasty meal you will return to Ambila, where you can enjoy a bath in fresh or salt water. You will spend the night again in your cozy tented camp right by the sea. |
Day 5: A day full of adrenaline (approx. 4h riding time)Firmly in the saddle, today's tour takes you north. Picturesque landscapes and dreamlike paths allow you to ride in high gallop to literally fly over the terrain! In Vavony, a fishing village on the shores of Lake Rasoabe, you will have a short rest before returning to Ambila in the late noon. In the afternoon you have the choice of taking a relaxing swim in the sea or facing a new thrill: With the horses you will organize exciting equestrian games on the beach! After this eventful day you and your horse have more than deserved the nightly rest in the tent camp by the sea. |
Day 6: Return to Antananarivo (approx. 3h riding time)On your last day on horseback, you will once again cross the Canal des Pangalanes. One last time you will have the opportunity to train yourself and your horse at prolonged gallop on Madagascar's dream beach. You again exuberant gallops on beautiful sandy paths and the beach. At noon you will have to say goodbye to your beloved animals with a heavy heart. On your return journey to Antananarivo you will stop in the Pereiras Reserve and have the opportunity to observe numerous native animals in their natural habitat. Lunch on this day you arrange yourself and according to your desire. Back in Madagascar's capital you will spend the night in the friendly Villa Sibylle. |
Day 7: Antananarivo and surroundingsBack in Anatananarivo you have countless possibilities to organize your day. Dive into the Bustle of the capital and end your stay in the urban flair of the different cultures of Madagascar. We will gladly take care of your transfer to the airport. However, it is recommended not to let your trip end here. Use your stay on the most beautiful island in the world and deepen your knowledge of the country and its people.
