Kirindy
The Kirindy Special Reserve has become best known for its reptiles as well as nocturnal lemurs. It is a private reservewhich consists exclusively of dry forests. Many of Madagascar's smallest primates are found here, and even giant sparrows, which are becoming increasingly rare on the island, have found a refuge in the Kirindy Reserve. The reserve can be easy to reach by car from Morondava. Smaller bungalows invite you to spend the night, where you can also participate in a guided night hike.
