Dear Klaus and dear Nicole,
with my entry in your guestbook would like to address all the readers who have the desire to travel the uniquely beautiful island of Madagascar.
Our group (14 people) were from 17.10-09.11.2014 with a konfortabeln coach, top bus driver "CE" on the RN7 tour on the road. Klaus has organized a fantastic trip for this rather large group, absolutely everything worked smoothly.
Every single wish was fulfilled, even short-term changes in the itinerary, posed no problem. If you want to experience the country and its people up close, Klaus and his charming wife Nicole are 100 % the best choice.our expectations and wishes were exceeded by far.
Familiar and strange at the same time, the fascinating landscape cocktail of the island continent, the diversity of the landscape is reflected in the faces of the people.
We like to think back to village 13, everywhere we met cheerful and hospitable people living in abject poverty.
The last week we spent in Sarondrano - a paradisiacal place to relax, thanks to Eden Lodge.
These unforgettable and unique impressions burn in our hearts and the memories of this dream vacation sweeten our stressful everyday life.
Dear Klaus, thank you so much for letting us be your guests...our mind is made up, we will be back.
For all the readers whose curiosity I have awakened with my entry, I can heartily recommend a trip to Madagascar with Klaus and Nicole.
Best regards to both of you.

We were in Madagascar from 23.08. to 12.09.2014. Thanks to the perfect organization of Nicole and Klaus, it was a trip that you will never forget for the rest of your life. Everything was organized optimally, even at short notice requests for changes could be accommodated. The impressions were exhilarating from Masoala Lodge and jungle to Tana to Antsirabe, Manakara, Ranomafana, Ifaty and finally Residence Eden Lodge at Sarondrano. Each destination was a real highlight, the cameras were permanently in use. But we also have to thank the always well-informed Aina, who made our trip a dream. He is not just a driver, he is also a guide, manager and psychologist. His advice was always reliable.
We can only recommend the trip to anyone reading this. We will gladly advertise Klaus, Nicole and Aina to our friends and family. It was difficult for us after this trip to return to our familiar surroundings and to settle into our working lives.
Dear Klaus, dear Nicole and dear Aina, thank you very much for your hospitality, for your perfect organization and our super company.... Collapse

A good month ago we had to leave Madagascar again after three wonderful weeks. We still live off the fantastic experiences and dream ourselves so out of the everyday life. We have experienced so many beautiful and unique things. For three weeks we were surrounded by warm people who cared about us and took care of everything.
Klaus organized an unforgettable trip for us. He thought of everything, even things that didn't occur to us. Everything worked flawlessly.
We first spent a week in the Masoala rainforest. There we stayed at the Masoala Forest Lodge. This is located in a beautiful place. The staff lovingly takes care of their guests and they fulfilled our every wish. Our guide Ursula showed us the beautiful flora and fauna of the rainforest and introduced us to her country and culture. We felt very comfortable at the lodge and part of the family.
After the week in the rainforest, we went across Madagascar with Aina and Albert. Aina is a first class driver who makes you feel really safe. Albert would like to become a tour guide and did an internship. He was very eager and explained customs and traditions to us in German. We immediately took the two into our hearts.

Nicole et klaus savent organiser des voyages sur Madagascar. Ce sont de vrais professionnels du voyage qui savent adapt leur périple en fonction des goûts et profils des clients. They remain always attentive to the quality of the hotels and restaurants, which avoids the excessive food costs observed in Madagascar.
Les chauffeurs sont fort sympathiques et expérimentés tout en restant discrets et attentifs au bien être des clients. Les visites sont donc fort intéressantes et réalisées en toute sécurité.
Un grand bravo pour ce tour operator, a recommander vivement!... Collapse

We would like to sincerely thank Klaus and Nicole for giving us a wonderful vacation in Madagascar in June/July 2014, which exceeded our expectations in all respects and in which everything 100% worked smoothly and perfectly. Although we had "only" rented a car with driver for our RN7 tour, Klaus has also brought our itinerary somewhat up to speed and took care of the hotels, with which we were very satisfied throughout. A great extra service! We had a lively and pleasant e-mail exchange beforehand, which left no questions unanswered.
At this point we would also like to thank our driver Aina. Aina is not only a safe driver, but he also proved to be a helpful, extremely helpful and reliable guide and truly great person. During the 12 days of our tour, Aina grew so close to our hearts that it was hard to say goodbye in Tulear.
The intensive, eventful vacation will remain in our memories forever. See you at our next Madagascar vacation......

Trip with children
Madagascar from 22.07. to 07.08.2014
We were three on this trip suitable for children and were accompanied by Klaus and Nicole. We would not want to miss this trip and can recommend it without hesitation. The tour is perfectly coordinated with longer beach stays at the Strait of Mozambique and the Indian Ocean or animal observations or hikes. Each day is discussed in advance and thus adapted to the individual wishes of the travelers. We can recommend this trip to everyone who wants to see an interesting country far away from mass tourism. There is much to discover and experience. With the professional travel company of Klaus and Nicole you are always on the right side. If you want to experience a beautiful and carefree vacation in the southern part of Africa far away from the mass tourist routes, this is the right place for you. The journeys are coordinated individually in the apron, so that one can come on its desires and conceptions. Interesting information can be found on the lovingly designed web pages and can be added at any time by contacting Klaus. We had great fun, we gained unforgettable impressions and took many beautiful pictures. From us the team and the execution of the journey receives the value "unreservedly recommendable", particularly for parents who want to offer their children something special and lasting in the memory of childhood. To Klaus and Nicole once again a big thank you and keep up the good work with your concept. We wish you in the future as satisfied guests as we are.

It was so nice to experience real Madagascar with Klaus and Nicole. So we listened to the old man, who told us about the belief in the ancestors and the reburial of the dead, got into a boisterous village community, which celebrated the circumcision of boys singing, reached a village in a pirogue to get to know vanilla and pepper, but still had to visit a mother with her 5 hours old child in a hut. Even the crocodile stalking became an experience, thinking about the excitement of the village elder because tourists came to his village. Or how the old woman in village 13 pulled freshly baked pottery out of the fire. In a restaurant the meal was delayed because the fishermen with the lobsters were not back yet. Klaus is a pleasant travel companion and allows one all feasible special requests and Nicole tells a lot about the life of the Madegasses. Thank you very much for this travel experience!... Collapse

Dear Klaus and dear Nicole:)
I wanted to thank you, even if a little late, for the wonderful and unforgettable time in Madagascar! And that I say not only because this is a phrase, no I will always keep you and the trip in Gedächnis. All the super beautiful photos and funny moments with our, albeit a little crazy troop are simply indescribable. The special thing about the trip with you, such as the factory visits, the people in the country, the markets, etc. you would never get to know as a normal "tourist" in this extent. Also the hotels or bungalows, which were partly not even awarded with stars, are super selected and simply wünderschön!!!
The "preparation" and the numerous emails that you have answered me with complete satisfaction in advance, have prepared me super even as a solo traveler:)
I do not know how I can still top my future vacations.
Keep up the good work! All the best to you 🙂
Your youngest solo traveler so far

Dear Klaus, dear Nicole,
first of all: a trip with you two is not just a vacation, but an unforgettable experience that you will never forget in your life. We had three wonderful, fascinating, impressive and adventurous weeks with you two, which we will always remember. You certainly can't travel more individually and personally and Klaus and Nicole really fulfill all wishes, no matter how difficult or even impossible they may seem.
We felt incredibly comfortable and perfectly looked after for three weeks and we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You really did everything to meet our wishes and to give us an unforgettable stay in Madagascar. It was like a trip with good friends and we have you to thank for that.
Through you we have seen many things and got to know places that the "normal tourist" never gets to see and also the many great conversations with you were a real highlight and we have learned infinitely much about the island. Thank you !
The only "disadvantage": Once you have traveled with Klaus and Nicole, you can not imagine a visit to Madagascar without them. At least we can't, because you can't make it any better and it can't be more individual and personal.
We can really recommend them to everyone and our expectations were more than exceeded!
The consequence: We would like to come absolutely once again to Madagascar, which we could not imagine before the journey actually. But if, then only with Klaus and Nicole!!!
Many thanks for everything say you both

Hello.
We arrived in Tana on July 9, full of anticipation of what would await us the next few days. Since it was our honeymoon, we asked Klaus to incorporate this into our planning and we were not disappointed. It was a perfect mix of sightseeing, hiking and relaxing moments for us. Our expectations and wishes were not disappointed but totally fulfilled. It was a very exciting time for us, where we were allowed to discover together with Klaus and Nicole, the special aspects of Madagascar. The many impressions that remained with us can not be put into words and must first be sorted. The life on Madagascar is simply unbelievable and touched us very much! A big thank you to Klaus and Nicole for the great preparation and accompaniment of our honeymoon. LG kathi and mario... Collapse

Full of expectation we landed on Madagascar. Before the trip we have read up a bit but and that said in advance, our expectations were exceeded by far.
Since we were a very small travel group, we came very close to the people and nature and have seen and experienced what package holiday is certainly not granted. Nicole and Klaus have adapted to our wishes and thus the experience effect was very high.
For all those who are thinking about experiencing Madagascar up close, this is the right address.

Dear Klaus, dear Nicole, dear Adafi, dear Anja!
We would like to thank you once again very much for the wonderful trip through Madagascar. It was really an experience that we will never forget. This is mainly due to the perfect organization of our vacation. On the one hand, the communication still from home by e-mail worked wonderfully. Got an immediate response to all inquiries, which of course helped to immediately build a foundation of trust. My friend and I originally had an itinerary in mind - Klaus suggested a different tour as it allowed us to see more of the country and its diversity. We felt this was a very fair and customer-oriented gesture, because of course the professional on the spot can judge much better what is interesting for someone who has never seen the island. However, he could have simply planned the tour we requested without pointing out to us that there are nicer options.
On site everything worked smoothly as well. Klaus' driver Adafi and his girlfriend Anja picked us up from the airport - the two were also our companions on our tour, which took us from Tana via Antsirabe, Ranomafana, Fianarantsoa, Ambositra, Ranohira, Ifaty to Tulear and Sarondrano respectively. The nature and also the different workshops we visited were absolutely fascinating. Adafi is an excellent driver and absolutely reliable. He also speaks super English, which was invaluable for our communication with each other, but also with locals, since our French skills are rather modest :sigh: He and his girlfriend Anja were not only our drivers, but also guides, translators, advisors, storytellers, ... For our wishes there was always time including a suitable solution - no matter if this was "only" the sim card for my cell phone, the countless pictures because of which we had to stop, the local food we wanted to try or even a change of the travel plan at my request in the last second. Because of a flight change of Air Madagascar we were able to see Morondava with the beautiful avenue of Baobabs. For Adafi or Klaus it was absolutely no problem to change or extend the itinerary spontaneously. Many thanks again for that. Customer wishes are really important to Klaus and his staff. Adafi and Anja were also the best travel companions we could wish for. The two of them brought us closer to the Malagasy culture and its customs with numerous stories and explanations. Apart from that, the accommodations and restaurants that Klaus and Adafi chose for us were wonderful - we would like to especially highlight Eden Lodge in Sarondrano, an absolutely wonderful place to spend your vacation.
At the end we would like to say once again MISAOTRA for the hospitality, the cordiality, the interesting impressions, simply an unforgettable vacation! We will gladly recommend you and hopefully we will manage to visit this wonderful island again ourselves.

Dear Klaus, dear Nicole,
an adventurous, eventful and insightful vacation lies behind us. Although my family had read well before, the impressions are not comparable with anything before, because we have seen and felt with the heart in a bitterly poor country. Thanks to your competence we were very close to the people and in wonderful nature. Your patience and empathy had a feel-good effect, so that it was/is a unique, lasting experience to be allowed to travel so exclusively. You make it possible. Many thanks to you two!!!... Collapse

Dear Klaus,
Dear Nicole,
a few weeks have now passed since we said goodbye in Madagascar and the daily routine in Luxembourg is keeping us firmly in check again.
Only slowly I can get used to the European meat cuisine again; I miss the zebus, in all their variety, very much.
So far, not a day has gone by that we haven't thought of you and the red island.
Madagascar has touched us deeply, not least because of you two.
Together we traveled in a Toyota Land Cruiser for 10 days from Antananarivo to Antsirabe, Ranomafana, Manakra, Ambalavao and back.
We saw great animals, marveled at breathtaking natural scenery and stayed in fantastic hotels with excellent food.
Particularly noteworthy is the remote Hotel La Vanille on the beach of Manakar. Back to basics is the motto there with just 2-3 hours of electricity and running water per day.
However, the hospitality, good food and fantastic location is priceless. The real luxury at La Vanille is that you are almost completely cut off from the outside world during the time you spend there. It is that luxury of deceleration, of coming to rest and of non-accessibility - dreamlike - and hardly imaginable in the western world.
Thanks to Klaus and Nicole, almost anything is possible in Madagascar. Whether it's a spontaneous paragliding flight in the mountains of Ambalavao or a bottle of French champagne in the bush, Klaus and Nicole make it possible.
We would therefore like to take this opportunity to thank you once again from the bottom of our hearts for everything you have made possible; you have provided us with an unforgettable honeymoon.
We had many expectations when we came to Madagascar and all of them were fulfilled. We took away wonderful memories and on top of that we made two wonderful new friends on the other side of the world.
We miss you very much and wish you all the best!

Our Madagascar trip is just 1 week behind us and the memories of these last 18 days are still very fresh.
We felt in very good hands with Klaus from the beginning of the booking and always provided with all information. Since the Konnerths in our case could not accompany the trip itself, so we would like to thank you for the excellent organization (itinerary, local accommodations) and especially our German-speaking (!) local guide and driver. We have experienced a wonderful and impressive 2.5 weeks. We will certainly remember what we have seen and experienced for a long time and of course the time in Madagascar has made us a bit pensive. It is amazing under which conditions the Madagascans live and how much friendliness, politeness, helpfulness and interest was shown to us 2 "Vazáha". (See part 2)... Collapse
