Explore Tulear and the surrounding area

When you arrive in Tulear, you might be a bit surprised at first. After all, this city seems absolutely average and not very attractive for tourists to be. This is exactly the case, because the capital of the province of the same name is for most people who do not live directly on site only a Stopover. From here it finally continues to the fantastic beaches of Ifaty, Sarondrano and Anakao.

However, all those who are interested in the world of plants can still get their money's worth near Tulear. There you will find the Arboretum d'Antsokay, which was developed by a Swiss botanist named Hermann Petignat was founded. The southern variant - On the way to Sarondrano
