For many years we make it possible to experience and discover Madagascar with us, as German speaking guides. We - that are Klaus Konnerth and his colleagues. With our small travel company we have settled in the Madagascan capital Antananarivo. It is especially important to us to offer our guests a vacation according to German quality standards. For this purpose, we offer individual and flexible travel options and adapt to the wishes and expectations of our guests. Comfort and safety are of utmost importance to us! Our many years of experience as tour guides enable us to provide you with the best information in advance and to assist you on site in all important questions and matters. We do not just place you, but accompany you personally during your entire trip from arrival to departure - not a matter of course in Madagascar!

Why did I settle in Madagascar?
On the one hand, perhaps because I met my wife here. On the other hand, because this island has captivated me so much on private trips before my first tour guide assignment that I simply don't want to leave. Madagascar is a former French colony. Even today, the French represent the largest share of Madagascar vacationers.
Individuality
Accordingly, there are very few German-speaking tour guides and tour companies specializing in German-speaking guests. Far from the capital Antananarivo it is also difficult with French. A large part of the rural population speaks only Malagasy and for this reason my wife and I (we speak French/English/German/Italian and my wife, of course, speaks perfect Malagasy) have specialized in clients from German-speaking countries. On our website you will find numerous tour offers. Please consider these tours only as rough drafts. All tours can be planned individually with you according to your wishes and expectations.
What makes us different from other providers?
The safety of our guests is our first priority. Our cars would also pass the German TÜV (why that is important, you will see within the first 10 min. on Madagascar...). ALL our tours are, if possible, guided by us personally. (There is no stranger with a cardboard sign at the airport.) We do not work as an agent, but accompany you from your arrival at the airport to your departure. Our scheduling is reliable and we always remain flexible and adapt to the wishes and expectations of each guest - which is not a matter of course in this country. Changes in the itinerary during the trip (maybe one or 2 days longer at the dream beach) are no problem. Flexibility and adaptability are possible even during the trip. The tour director
is responsible for a person or group counting on him. Exceptional organizational skills are required for this position. He must be positive, and react in a calm and confident manner in the case of the unexpected of all kinds (accident, administrative problems, last minute delays for example...). Madagascar is the country where the unexpected often happens, but that's why I love working there! When the mood of the clients suddenly changes, which sometimes happens, the escort must always remain calm and friendly, because not everyone is equally calm and tolerant. Speaking foreign languages is essential. My job is demanding in many respects: liability issues are just as much a part of it as many hours of work spread over the day and night. An accompanying job like mine is very irregular, and it is difficult to balance it with family life, so an understanding partner is essential. Long-duration trips, some of them worldwide, are also common for me, often irregularly distributed among the different seasons. By the way, only a few guides like me work full time, most of them work seasonally for large agencies. This is an important criterion for my clients, because I have been living exclusively from this work for several years, despite all the difficulties. This was and is only possible because I offer consistently good and reliable services at a fair price.
